Cut the Cake!

Ok, in an attempt to catch up on all that's been going on with me, I'm going to be posting a ton of Young Women activities (from back in the day.) I've been in Young Women for almost 2 years now and this was our very fist class activity that we had! I was called to be the Beehive Adviser in the summer of 2009. This activity took place in Aug. right before the girls started school. We wanted to have a fun relaxed evening where we could get to know the girls. We played a few games & "Cut the Cake" was one of them. This was the 1st time I had ever heard of this game...it was lots of fun! Basically, you had a mound of flour that you placed a penny on top of. Then, each person would take turns 'cutting the cake' by taking a butter knife & slicing away some of the flour. The person who cuts the cake & makes the penny fall, must then pick up said penny with only their mouths!

Dig in...yeah my tongue is out, but that's nothing new.Get that "cake"! lolGot it! It was hard because you couldn't breathe or you would end up snorting flour! I'm glad we didn't have to apply mouth to mouth to anyone...=)The girls had a blast...Don't mess up!So serious...Messy!!!...and hilarious!If this is who the girls have as examples & leaders, they are in serious trouble! lol
