Ok, I have just been tagged. Well, really I was tagged awhile ago and am just now answering my assignment. This will be a long post...
20 Years Ago (1988)...
I can't remember very much of what was going on with me because I was only 8. However, I do know that I was baptized this year. I also was in a comma for almost a week and the doctors thought I wasn't going to make it. My family and the local area fasted & prayed for me. Miracle of miracles, I'm here today without any side effects. Unless, you count crazy, but I think I would have got that no matter what. :-) There are many more details to this story, but I've recorded already in other sources.
10 Years Ago (1998)...
This is the year I graduated from high school. I usually stayed home from school because I was "sick" and didn't want to go. Even with my many absences, I still managed to graduate with honors (#16 in my class) and ace AP classes. I'm an unbelievable procrastinator, so this worked perfect for me. However, I almost didn't get to graduate because I had too many absences. I had to get doctor excuses, which made my mom mad because she told the school SHE knew where I was and THAT's all that mattered. The school wouldn't budge, so she said "Fine, you want a doctor's excuse. You'll get them and they'll all be fake!" So Max Collins came to the rescue and wrote out 35 excuses for me!!! I told you I was slack.
This was also the year I began talking to my wonderful husband online...
5 Years Ago (2003)...
Well, I had 2 kids and was living in Allen, TX. I was the nursery leader at church. I was a waitress at Saltgrass Steakhouse. I can't really remember anything else significant that was going on at this time.
1 Year Ago (2007)...
I was working hard on my book designing business and doing a lot of promotion for it. I had 3 kids. I was trying to figure out KateLynn's baptism. I was the VT Coordinator at church. I was still waiting tables at Saltgrass.
So Far This Year...
I created a new name for my book business - Custom Books by Mary. I was in charge of planning and pulling off our VT Conference. It turned out GREAT! We had a service auction. Our ward just split and we are now part of a brand new ward! The 1st Sunday all we had was a bishopric! It's been a little chaotic for a couple of weeks. This past Sunday I was called to be the Primary Secretary (Yeah!) I have been very busy getting things in order because our Primary president has been out of town for 2 weeks and so is one of the counselors. A lot to do, but loving every minute of it.
Today...
KateLynn had a friend over today and we went swimming at the Natatorium. I had a meeting with a photographer today at Starbucks. I went to Walmart to get some final things for Sunday and grocery shopping. I practiced one of my experiments for Singing time on Sunday with the kids. I made magic potion to help teach a song. The kids LOVED it and KateLynn said "Thanks for making Primary fun, Mom!" Aah...
Tomorrow...
KateLynn will have her friend come over again and she will spend the night and go to church with us. We will go to the outdoor pool to swim. Jim & I will go workout in the morning. We have our very 1st ward social in the Allen 6th ward. The ward has only been created for 3 weeks now! I will make another post on my blog about my new calling. (Marina, get off my back!) :P
In the Next Year...
I will be do Sharing Time & Singing Time at church this Sunday. Levi will start school. Hunter will be potty trained! I will continue to design books for clients. I will still wait tables at Saltgrass. I will be an amazing Primary secretary and drive my presidency insane with ideas. I will make sure Mom's legacy is preserved properly. She will be remembered for the woman she was and not for the person she is viewed as now.
Ok, now I TAG Lizzy & Angel because I don't have anyone else to tag! Marina, I hope you're happy!!! Ugh, I don't have time for this... ;-P

You need to quit griping and complaining. We are helping you preserve your memories for your kids. The Lord has counseled us to keep a journal. And since you like to procrastinate and be lazy. We as your family have to ride you like crazy to get your butt in gear. So suck it up and just keep posting. You won't regret it.
I'm glad Lizzy said it so I didn't have to...BTW, love your new background. I can't wait to hear how all of your primary experiments go on sunday. Hey, here's an idea: instead of calling me to tell me, post it. ;P
I want to know about the magic potion for singing time.
