The Summer Has Begun...

Ok, so I've decide to post our summer plan. Basically we will be sleeping, eating, and hanging out at the Natatorium. We got a membership for the whole family and are excited about spending time together as a family. We are committed to going every Tues., Fri. & Sat. and any other extra days, if schedules permit. The kids love the water!!! The Natatorium is an indoor leisure pool with a lazy river, water slide, olympic lap pool, spa, and play area. The gym over looks the pool area and there is a rock climbing wall. Jim and I will switch off swimming with the kids, while the other is working out upstairs and we'll end with all of us swimming together. That's the plan. :-)

It took Hunter awhile to get accustomed to the water and now he has become fearless in the water. He blows bubbles, goes down the slide, and dunks his head under the water.

KateLynn learned to swim today. Well, she's gotten a lot closer. She was doggy paddling and swimming backwards for a good 4 yards. When she puts her mind to learning something, she learns quickly! When she was trying to learn to ride a bike, it only took her one day and she was off... It's pretty much the same thing with her swimming. She's mastered staying afloat in a matter of days! Way to go KateLynn...

Levi has also been trying hard to learn to swim. He's learning to put his head under water for long periods of time without sucking up water. His favorite part of the Natatorium is definitely the lazy river.
