Well, KateLynn is almost done with school this year. I can't believe it. The year has flown by! She's very sad for the summer to be here, because she loves school and doesn't want to leave. I wonder how long that will last? :-)
I put this slide show together to show her year at a glance. She had some good times and luckily I was able to capture a lot of them. I just finished the end of the year teacher's book. I'll see if I can figure out how to get the link up.
I'm proud of KateLynn and the dedication she has for learning. It amazes me how hard school is now a days compared to when I was going. A lot is expected out of the kids and I must say KateLynn has stepped up to the plate. She had all A's this year. I know you're thinking, "It's just 2nd grade." But let me tell you, the things they were doing...I was very impressed with her! Go KateLynn!

Could it be that your straight A's are from your mom doing your work for you? We know she's been busted before. Nah, I'm just kidding. KateLynn, I'm proud of you..especially since I have children who are failing classes. You keep working hard.
I posted before I saw the book...It looks awesome! Ms. Wilson will LOVE it! You know word is going to get out and every teacher is going to fight to have KateLynn as a student just because they'll be expecting a book. :) Truly, it looks so nice!
Well, lets see. I loved school until we got to high school. Actually I think I still would've liked school if I didn't hang out with Jesse and his loser friends. Their attitudes smothered mine, so I just went along with them. They had no school spirit, and I always had school spirit until they came across. Little punks. Robbed me from my high school days.
Anyways, needless to say, make sure KateLynn hangs out with the right crowd and keep her active in the school activities and she will always LOVE school.
