SC Trip Day 7 (Part 2) - 80's Skate Night

Our last night together, we decided to spend at the skating rink. Skating is definitely retro so we decided to dress in 80's attire. Emry kept complaining that she didn't have anything 80's to wear, so we told her we would help her pick out some things to wear. Holy Cow!!!!!!!!! When we looked through her closet, we hit the mother load!!! She had sooooo much stuff. In fact, her wardrobe dressed her, Lizzy, & Marina, plus some accessories for me! We just had to show her how to mix & match her things to get the desired look....

Emry with her poofy hair and "Madonna" look...One of my 80's look...Wow that's a lot of blue & pink eyeshadowThen, we had to go pick up Pop...he didn't know what to think about us!! Lizzy was the "punk" look, Emry had the "Madonna" look, I had the everyday "preppy" look, & Marina looked like a "lady of the night" if you know what I mean...LOLYeah, what's going on here...Whatever you're selling, I ain't buying! :-)Our group took over the rink!Whoa, down ladies...Gettin' my skates on...Delia lacin' up...Yeah, we look good! We definitely know how to rock the 80's!Even the little kids dressed up...Why the serious look? But your side ponytail with tulle looks good...Papa spent most of the time on the floor...what's going on old man?Marina, Delia, Paris (love the leg warmers), & EmryEthen (Olivia Newton-John's 'Physical' look) & MeEmry got way hot, so the hair went up...Way to go Vince (love the Mohawk) & Ethen's pants rolled look...I so remember that look on jeans.Show 'em how to skate backwards...Sing that funky music white girl...I love skating...brings back memories from my youth.Lizzy, Pam (Lizzy's friend), & MeThe Races:

We did scooter races...Marina & I didn't do so well b/c I couldn't get down low...LOLThe Cheering Section:Then, we had foot races...Run girls..run..Rocco won the foot race for the boys & got a victory kiss from Angel.Dancing:

Then we did some dancin'...how low can you go?!Cha cha now y'all...everybody clap your hands!Got our skates back on and skated some more...Lydia, do you want some of this?! I didn't think so...You know we're CrAzY!Girl's out of control...We love you, Lydia! (She lived with us for awhile when I was a baby. She's our adopted sister.)

We had a blast!!!!!!! As fun as it was to dress in 80's, they need to stay in the past b/c the clothes are out of control!
