Civil War Camp

A few Sundays ago after church, we went to a local Civil War camp that was going on for the weekend. It was small, but fun. The kids had fun dressing up and looking at the different tents. There was a blacksmith, a dress-up tent, a medical tent, a soldier's tent, & a "camping" fire tent. When the soldiers shot their guns, Hunter got scared because they were LOUD!!! It was very cool though. I got to dress up as well, so Jim took my picture. When I take pictures I'm always "posing" and sticking my tongue out. Levi was watching me and said very seriously, "Mom, stop sticking your tongue out, you need to act like a princess!" Out of the mouths of babes...Even, my son knows I'm out of control. LOL!!!! This was my first time going to one of these things and I LOVED it. I love historical activities and we will definitely do it again...
