KateLynn's SMART Genes

KateLynn's UIL music competition was Jan. 10th at the high school. She did an AWESOME job!!! After months of studying, she ended up scoring a perfect score! Yeah!!! Her school came in 3rd place in her group...We went to a hibachi restaurant to celebrate. Hunter was actually eating his food with his chopsticks!!! Wow, Hunter, that's some skill... :-)KateLynn also won her class spelling bee (don't ask me how!) She told me her teacher gave her all of the easy words. LOL She really isn't that great of a speller, however, she and another boy represented their class in the school spelling bee. Her teammate was out the 1st round and KateLynn was out after the 2nd round. I think she had fun and I'm proud of her!
