The kindergartners were doing a camping theme for open house. They needed their hallway decorated, so I got drafted to be in charge of this. I must admit I was pretty excited because I thought it would be fun! I ended up being at the school all week with Hunter. I would pack him breakfast & lunch and he would hang out in the hall with me. Sometimes he would hang out with Levi in class and listen to stories and play. I had a lot of mom volunteers that stopped by to help...THANK YOU! We did 8 classrooms/camps. It didn't turn out exactly as I had envisioned, but it does look cute!We put tents around the class room doors and had sleeping bags on the doors...like they were sleeping in the tents. Each classroom was a "camp" with their own camp sign, fire, fishing poles, and lanterns. We hung stars from the ceiling, made a picnic table, s'mores for the bulletin boards, a lake with canoe, and pine trees.
