Where's Your Passie?!

We have been trying to get Hunter off of his pacifier. I mean come on he's potty trained at 2, (even through the night) how hard could it be to get rid of it. Ha! We started just giving it to him when he would go to bed at night and recently we have taken them away completely. He's woken up a couple of nights crying, but has done pretty good overall.

Well, today while I was going to the bathroom, Hunter came in and wanted me to separate his lego blocks (2 had gotten stuck.) I separated them and tried to hand them to him. He grabbed one with 1 hand and his other hand was behind his back and he wouldn't grab the other block from me. I didn't think anything of it and was like 'Take the block!' When he reached to grab the block with the other hand, he was holding his passie!!! I said "Oh, Hunter give me that passie!!" He started freakin' out and screaming out the bathroom, "MY passie, My passie!!" I just died laughing.

When I was out of the bathroom, I went into his room and his head was in the lego blocks hamper with his butt in the air. I said "Hunter, what are you doing and where is that passie?" He wouldn't pull his head out, so I pulled him out and he was sucking on it! I told him to give me the passie and he told me to "Get out my room!" What?! I left to call Jim on the phone because I was cracking up. When I went back in there to get the passie, I couldn't find him. I could here some noise, but didn't know where he was. He had hidden underneath Levi's bed in the cubbie!

I opened the door and there he was getting his "fix." LOL

I didn't have the heart to take it from him. If he was that determined and ingenious, then I figured he earned it for the day. Tomorrow is another day...

That is GREAT story!!! Hunter is sneaky little sucket. I can't believe hid in the bed with the door closed. Most kids his age would have been scared. But, like you said it must have meant a lot to him. Watch out!!! He's going to be one sneaky teenager. ;)

Love it! Love it!!

Too funny! That's great that instead of going off on him, you found the humor in it. From the picture your parents paint...you don't do that very often.:)

exactly what happens when you raise them with a paci, let them have c--k to suck right away and for dad getting baby sucks feels amazing, once we had kids I hated when my wife sucked my d--k all I could think of was having my girls sucking it
